Ingredients
- 3 Alanna Burger Patties
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 3 slices of cheese (such as American)
- For Serving: 3 burger buns
- 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
- Iceberg lettuce
- Minced white onion
Instruction
If grilling: Preheat the grill or grill pan to high heat. Grill the patties until a crust develops and they are no longer pink in the center, approximately 6 minutes. Flip the patties and immediately brush the top of each patty with melted butter. Cook for an additional 3 minutes, then add the cheese. Continue cooking to achieve the desired level of doneness, approximately 3 minutes more for medium.
If using a skillet: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties until a crust develops and they are no longer pink in the center, about 6 minutes. Flip the patties and immediately brush the top of each patty with melted butter. Cook for an additional 3 minutes, then add the cheese. Continue cooking to achieve the desired level of doneness, approximately 3 minutes more for medium.
Assemble the burgers by placing the patties between buns with your desired fixings.
